Text Box: DOGS
Once again we ask homeowners to clean up after their dogs. This is a common problem in many communities, but it doesn’t have to be in Pinecrest if we are all considerate to our neighbors.
Please be sure your dog is on a leash and take along a pooper scooper with you when walking your dog. No one should have to clean up after some else’s pet.
Article 12K. Animals and Pets—”...all animals be kept on a leash when on the Association Property or outside a fenced yard...and that Residential Owners are responsible for cleaning up any mess that a pet created within any Lot or the Association Property…”
Please do not dispose of plastic bags used as pooper scoopers in the storm drains.

Covenants and Bylaws

The Covenants and By-Laws committee composed of Carole Croteau, Fay Donovan, and Jane Ulrich, Alan Roberds, and Andrew Bertram recently submitted its reports to the POA Board.

The committee recommended two modifications to the existing covenants.  The recommendations are: 1) Any property lease must be for a minimum of six months, and 2) that in-wall air conditioning units will be allowed under the guidelines of the International Energy Conservation Code (2006) as adopted by the State of South Carolina.   The POA board will act on the committee’s recommendations.  The board will then submit any proposed changes to a vote of the homeowners.

The committee also edited the existing By-Laws.  The board will consider the recommended by-law changes at its September meeting.

POA Board Meetings – Meeting Minutes

The POA board holds regular monthly meetings on the third Thursday of the month at the Associa offices.  Meeting time is 7 p.m.  Minutes of the meetings are posted on the Amenity Center bulletin board and on the POA website.

Please be a good neighbor and remove all newspapers in your viewing area if still on the ground for 24-hours after delivery.

Also, if you see your neighbor has had a parcel delivered and it is still sitting there after 24 hours, give your neighbors a call and let them know they have a package sitting on the stoop.

If your neighbors cannot be reached, be a watchful neighbor and move the package somewhere where it is not easily seen from the street.

These simple deeds should help to discourage crime in Pinecrest
